Cherubini in oltremare: a margine del Salterio tradotto da Pierre de Paris (ms. BnF, Fr. 1761)
Abstract
Ms. Paris BnF Fr. 1761 contains the translation of the Psalter by Pierre de Paris followed by an anonymous and anepigraphic treatise. This last work appears to be a French translation of the Latin pamphlet De sex alis cherubim (12th c.). The essay shows how the translation of the De sex alis does not constitute a separate section with respect to the Psalter, but how its presence is fully justifiable within the ms. Fr. 1761, as part of a coherent editorial project.Riferimenti bibliografici
