Il codice Firenze BML Ash. 123: struttura e "scripta"

Abstract

Il contributo è dedicato al codice miscellaneo Firenze BML Ash. 123, contenente testi in antico
francese e franco-italiano e realizzato a Genova alla fine del sec. XIII. Viene analizzata la sequenza
dei testi che tramanda, in particolare l’antologia cavalleresca che ne occupa la quasi totalità, per
concentrarsi poi sui tratti linguistici dell’unico copista, che si conferma di provenienza genovese.

The essay deals with the ms. Firenze BML Ash. 123, a miscellany of texts in Old French and
Franco-Italian composed in Genoa at the end of the XIII century. First, the sequence of texts it
preserves is analysed, particularly focusing on the chivalric anthology which occupies almost all
of the ms.; secondly, the discussion concentrates on the linguistic traits of the sole scribe, who
is confirmed to be of Genoese origin.
