Il gruppo pisano-genovese nel contesto della miniatura ligure: qualche osservazione

Abstract

Il saggio approfondisce i rapporti artistici fra il gruppo di manoscritti dell’atelier pisanogenovese e alcuni codici genovesi di fine Duecento (in particolare Paris BNF lat. 23), propone una ricostruzione dell’atelier in cui questi manoscritti, molto diversificati fra loro, vennero realizzati, e analizza la decorazione miniata del Legendario Modena BEU alfa.T.4.14, da attribuire anch’esso all’operatività dei pisani presenti a Genova.

This essay takes a look at the aesthetic relations between a group of manuscripts from the pisan-genoese workshop and some genoese manuscripts from the end of the thirteenth century (especially Paris BNF lat. 23); it proposes a reconstruction of the workshop in which those manuscripts, which differ very much one from the other, were made. Moreover, it analyzes the illuminated decoration of the Legendario Modena BEU alfa.T.4.14, which also stems from work of the pisan artists working in Genoa.
